Home Measurement

This is one of our most frequently requested services. In my opinion no one should list a house without having it measured by a professional Appraiser. Every week I see homes where the county records and/or prior MLS listing were significantly incorrect. In many cases this results in a below market sale, simply because the agent didn't find out the actual size of the house they were listing. 


I use a top of the line laser measurement device and a tablet to measure each wall of the home to the nearest inch. Long gone is pulling out the measuring tape and paper clipboard. I can provide you with the results before I leave. I also measure porches, patios, decks, out buildings and any other feature that will help you best describe the features of the home in the MLS listing.


Many agents go into a basement look around and then make a guess about what percentage of the basement is finished! I will measure the unfinished areas and show it on the sketch, no guess work involved. The percent finished will be exact!

Pre-Listing Appraisal

Continuing Education Classes for your Office

For years I have been going to brokerages and teach Real Estate Agents about the appraisal process. My state approved CE course (Course #R240626) titled "Appraisal for Real Estate Agents" will help agents understand the basics of appraisal. The course title is boring and pretty simple, but the course itself is like nothing you have seen before. You will come away understanding the appraisal process and what to do if you get an appraisal that is less than the sale price.
