MountainView Appraisal

Kelton’s roots are in Southern Utah, where he grew up training horses and working in Construction.  This instilled in him the values of hard work and integrity—principles that guide his work to this day. Since beginning his appraisal career in 1996, Kelton has built a reputation for excellence, first as a staff appraiser and then as a Division Appraisal Manager for a national bank, overseeing major markets in Southern California and Texas. In 2008, he returned to Utah to establish MountainView Appraisal, where he applies his deep expertise as a Certified Residential Appraiser. Kelton has appraised a wide range of properties, from expansive estates over 20,000 square feet to modest condo units and horse properties spanning 30 acres. His work encompasses everything from purchase and refinance transactions to divorce settlements, estate planning, and tax assessment appeals. With a real estate license and active involvement in the local market, Kelton combines his appraisal skills with a passion for real estate, all while enjoying an active lifestyle with his wife, Alisa, and their five sons. His professional affiliations, including his role as Past President of the Utah Coalition of Appraisal Professionals and membership in the National Association of Appraisers, reflect his commitment to maintaining the highest standards in his field.
